What is SUP anyway?
SUP is the acronym for one of the world’s fastest growing sports, Stand Up Paddleboarding. This unique water sport is a hybrid of surfing, where the surfer uses a paddle to move through the water while standing on a surfboard…from a blissful lake cruise, to a rockin’ river ride, SUP serves up a spectrum of rich life experiences for both the recreational paddler and the adrenaline junkie!
With our SUP season being as short as it is, many people long to keep their season alive. SUP Yoga has become a very real portion of the SUP market / industry, and the karmaSUPtra indoor SUP yoga board takes it from the water to the studio, almost seamlessly. The boards width allows you to open your stance, and the three balance cushion system is a close to the real thing as you can get. The cushions allow the board to roll gently from side to side, forcing you to concentrate on your balance and your midline.
